Cricket, anyone?

It was interesting to watch for a while, and Adrian was a fan from his mission to England a few+ years back.  It is not the most exciting or fast-paced game to watch though, so I was glad to have a more animated and much cuter subject to look at and photograph.

Computer genius

Adrian,

I admit, I may not be the most computer savvy person on the planet, so it may have been something crazy that I did to delete all our blog links. BUT, here are some other clues to the mystery that I found on the computer today.

SOS!!

Help!  Somehow, I/we/the kids/?? deleted all of our blog "Family and Friends" links.  If you are one of our cyber family or friends, or have noticed that we had your link on our sidebar, email or comment your blog address to me so I can get this back up and running and be able to keep up with you and your family!

Impromptu swingset

What do you do when you are between the ages of 4 and 10 and haven't been on a swingset since the last time you were "off-island?"

You improvise, and use one of the dead (but very strong) leaves from a fan palm tree. All the kids in our building saw our exciting discovery and came out to try.

Bunk beds

Dear Adrian,

Tell me again about the reason for taking down the nice big King size bed that Brennan and Payton shared, and that even though we only have 2 bedrooms and they have to share a room, pretty soon we shouldn't have these two share a bed.  About how Brennan is going to be 7 in a few months and we don't want his friends to tease him that he shares a bed with his sister.

Carnival in the Caribbean

I took Brennan and Payton to the children's parade.  From what we hear, this parade is definitely the "mildest" part of Carnival here in the Caribbean.  It was interesting, with lots of colors and history behind all the costumes.  Still, the music was loud, there were a lot of people, and there were some who looked as if they had been partying straight since Carnival began at 3 a.m. on Dec. 26th.  A fun experience nonetheless.
