We had heard about him. We had read the book about him. We met the author last year on Damon's birthday when she came to a friend's home to read to the children and give them all a signed copy and a doll she had made. But we had never met "Wilbert" until we recently made a trip out to the infamous beach. He is as big as the rumors claim he is. And not as cute as the book portrays him to be. I guess getting older takes its toll on all of us!

WOW! Wilbert in the water...poor pig, I was beginning to wonder if he still got out there.

wher did you buu the book? my parents went to st. kitt and met wilbert and told me i should buy the book, but i can't find it anywhere.
we got the book from the author, but it is for sale at the gift shop at the Marriott Hotel the last time I checked.
Also just saw it for sale out at Conkleshell beach, at the Reggae Beach Bar where Wilbert lives....
